Browsing through my web stats, I noticed that I’ve been running my blog here since mid-2002. That, what, fourteen dog years?

I’ve never had an outage that I’ve known about and every query I’ve made about my Web hosting, be it custom features like WebDAV, rsync and shell access, another MySQL database or source code control, are answered positively, to my satisfaction, the same day.

So it’s about time that I give some props to my hosting partner, Ideanode, expecially since they are upgrading their service.

You can read the summary, or the details, but they’re raising the bar on of storage and bandwidth, mail and service. It’s about time someone is providing multiple IMAP mailboxes with 200+MB of storage apiece + spam filtering for a reasonable price.

So it’s time for you LJers and Blogspotters to jump ship. I’m tired of waiting for your pages to load.
